Unapologetically
A Zoom Womb for Badass Boundaries & Desires to Bloom
Live from 1-3pm Eastern, Sunday September 6th
If we're going to fight for and co-create the world the future ones deserve, we've got to play our parts as potently as possible.
For people-pleasers and perfectionists, this means getting bigger, badder, and braver.
For anyone accustomed to minimizing, justifying, explaining, denying, or downright neglecting your own wants and needs: What haven’t you been giving yourself permission to say or do?
And what would become possible if you DID, without apology, shrinking, or toning it down?
Practice taking space, unwinding what's holding you back, and giving fewer fucks as you claim what you need to shine.
In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll get consent-rooted* invitations to explore your personal barriers to claiming limits & longings, & practice letting present wants & needs emerge or take more space.
Using gentle, trauma-informed tools for embodiment and self-discovery, we’ll play with exploratory movement techniques, reflective prompts, opportunities to share with others, or just witness yourself in process—to elicit & integrate the wisdom of body, mind, heart, & spirit, & affirm your experiences—without pressure to change.
*Consent-rooted means you’ll be encouraged to assess your yes, no, & maybe with every prompt I offer, & discern if & when you want to pass, modify a prompt, or explore the edges of your comfort zone. Going off camera for some or all of the workshop is always respected, though folks willing to have cameras on will help us be more “in the room” together.
This workshop will be live, and mainly experiential, so live attendance is strongly encouraged (though it will be recorded and shared only with registered participants). Most of the practices I’ll use come from InterPlay. Please read the InterPlay Community Practices before registering.
I am not a therapist and this is not group therapy, though some have described this work as “therapeutic.” Other things folks have said of my work include:
“I have never experienced a virtual space facilitated with such inventiveness, intentionality, care, & support as this. Other virtual groups I have participated in are by comparison facilitated within the assumption that virtual meetings cannot possibly feel as deeply connective as in-person gatherings, and as a result, do not tend to invite an attention and orientation of deep care and belonging.” -EK
“You created such thorough & thoughtful gatherings. Each felt so good, moved me through so much, & was really nourishing to me as a survivor & human in this fucked up world.” -Iz
“I have a lot of spaces in my life to process intellectually, but this is one of the few that is so beyond words, does not require words, & so much is in my body that words can’t touch. To be embodied, & to also be witnessed & connect while that’s happening—there’s so much relationally that is not something I can journal myself through or get a bunch of therapy about. This is really special here.” -Amy W
“Leroy is a joyful, compassionate, committed, present, & skilled facilitator. No small feat to make this space feel safe & playful for even the more timid dispositions.” -VHG
